Meet the Craftsman
I am retired after 40 years as a carpenter and cabinet maker. I stumbled upon crafting my own custom pens by chance, while I was making frames for my son, a local Bucks County Photographer (http://www.thisisbuckscounty.com). The frames for his pictures are made of different antique woods, some of which are documented to be as old as 300 years. Not wanting to waste any precious pieces of this gorgeous wood, I started making pens and bottle stoppers.
I have enjoyed the challenge of coming up with new ideas and new ways to expand my craft. I added a new line of custom pens from hand picked wood that is dried in our own kiln. This lets me ensure that only the highest quality materials find their way into my products. Woods such as apple burl, peach, and apricot are found in our local orchards. Each piece is hand selected and has its own one-of-a-kind pattern, as unique as our fingerprints. If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind pen for your desk or collection, visit our photo gallery. I’m sure the object of your search lies somewhere within.
